Groups and ages
Which ages are the activities for?
Perhefutis is for children born 2024–2022 together with a grown-up. Naperofutis is for children born 2023–2019 and Temppukoulu for children born 2023–2020. Perhefutis sessions are designed for 2–4-year-olds. Children born 2025 are also welcome. They register in the same way as everyone else.
What's the difference between Perhefutis and Naperofutis?
In Perhefutis every session is a joint session where a familiar, trusted grown-up takes part with the child. In Naperofutis children practise more independently with the coaches and their group.
What happens in a Naperofutis session?
A varied mix of active games, obstacle courses, small-sided games and football basics. Every session has its own theme.
What language are the sessions in?
Sessions are led in Finnish. Our coaches also speak English and are happy to help – children pick up the games quickly by watching and joining in.
Is it all year round?
Yes. Autumn (September–November) starts on outdoor fields and moves into gyms in October, spring (January–April) is indoors and summer (May–August) outdoors.
Can a group be cancelled?
If too few children register, a group may have to be cancelled. Families are then directed to other groups or the fee is refunded.
Registration
Can we join mid-season?
Yes, if there is room in the group. Up to the third session you can register as normal for the whole season – missed sessions can be made up in our other groups. After the third session the price is based on the sessions remaining (9 sessions €89, 8 sessions €79 and so on; a sibling €6 and, in Perhefutis, a second child with the same adult €4 per remaining session), and the rest-of-season price is shown in the group details. Register in advance using the form and change the invoice total to the rest-of-season price. Your child may try one session before you pay the invoice – if you don't continue, please cancel your place by email.
When is the invoice due, and do we need to register before the first session?
Please register before taking part, so that your family gets all the information you need and we can plan for the number of children. If you start at the beginning of the season, the invoice is due after the second session, before the third – so you can get to know the activity first. If you join mid-season, the invoice is paid after the first session.
Can we make up a missed session?
Yes. If your child is ill, injured or travelling, you can make up the session in another of our groups. Make-up sessions are meant for these situations, so that group sizes stay right for everyone. Book the make-up session in advance by email to toimisto@liikuntaleikki.fi – we confirm it by email. Unfortunately you can't make up a session in a group that is full.
What if my child doesn't continue after the first session?
Please let us know by email: toimisto@liikuntaleikki.fi.
The group is full. What now?
You can register for the waiting list. Don't pay the invoice until your place is confirmed – we'll email you if a place opens up. In the autumn season a full group can often still take children for the outdoor sessions at the start of the season, as there is more room on the field than in the gym. The group details will say if this is possible.
Is the registration form in English?
The form is in Finnish. See the English guide to the form fields on the Info & prices page, or email us and we'll help.
Payments
How much does a season cost?
€105 / season (11 sessions, insurance and a diploma). Two children from the same family €175 in total. The first payment of the year includes a €10 membership fee.
Can we cancel a place?
You can cancel a place before the group's third session. Please cancel by email: toimisto@liikuntaleikki.fi. We charge the fee for places that are not cancelled.
What if the invoice didn't arrive by email?
Check your spam folder. If you can't find it, contact the office by email: toimisto@liikuntaleikki.fi.
How does the sibling discount work?
Register each child separately. Pay the full price for the first child and change the amount on the second invoice to €70. In Perhefutis, when two children come with the same adult, the second invoice is €40.
Sessions and kit
Are sessions held if it rains?
Yes, sessions go ahead in the rain. Children can take part in rain clothes and wellies.
What should my child bring?
Outdoors: sports clothes for the weather, trainers, their own football (size 3) and a water bottle. Indoors: indoor sports clothes and shoes, their own football (size 3) and a water bottle.
What if a session is cancelled?
Occasionally a single session has to be cancelled, for example if a gym booking falls through or a coach is ill. We always let parents know and explain what happens next.
What if my child is injured and needs to see a doctor?
Please contact us first (toimisto@liikuntaleikki.fi or 044 335 7003) and we'll tell you what to do. You can take your child to any private medical clinic. Once the fee is paid, your child is insured during the activities, and coaches carry first-aid kits for minor injuries.
